The Big Weekend – A Dancers' Dream Weekend

NEW FOR 2025: We will be hosting a full weekend of dance and workshops on the 4th weekend of each month, including guest teachers.

Held at our jewel in the crown, The Palace Ballroom, Hindley, WN2 3AE with lots of amazing restaurants, sight-seeing and accommodation on our doorstep.

All elements can be booked separately, allowing you to personalise your weekend. Alternatively, book the whole weekend at an amazing discount. A little different to our usual dance breaks around the UK, these breaks are as follows:

Friday daytime – Workshops – 3.30pm - 4.30pm - 5.30pm with Phil & Kathryn
Friday night – a chance to check out the local area, try one of our fabulous restaurants, or simply relax after your journey and welcome lessons.
Saturday – Workshops – 1.00pm - 2.15pm; 3.30pm - 4.30pm; 5.45pm - 6.45pm with Phil & Kathryn
Saturday night – dance – 8.00pm-11.30pm 50/50 Ballroom/Sequence and Sequence. See Events page for details month on month.
Sunday daytime – Workshops – 10.30am & 11.30am with Phil & Kathryn

Occasionally we have Workshops hosted by guest tutors; a different teacher each month, including Strictly pros such as Erin Boag, Vincent Simone and UK top pros such as Andre and Mia.

Sunday afternoon – Workshops 5.00pm and 6.00pm; and 7.15pm Sequence - 8.00pm-11.00pm 50/50 Ballroom/Sequence and Sequence

You can book all workshops and socials separately
•  Friday and Saturday Workshops £10.00 per person, per workshop
•  Saturday dance varies from £10.00 - £25.00, depending on the events that weekend – ask for details
•  Alternatively book them all for just £70.00 including Saturday and Sunday night dances
•  Sunday workshops with the Stars – ask for details - Bookable separately
•  Sunday Social Dance – £7.50
