Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I have two left feet!
That's absolutely fine. All of our beginner classes are structured and aimed at non-dancers. Remember, everyone has to start somewhere, and we guarantee you will love it!

Do I need a partner?
No. It is beneficial if you can bring a partner as it may make you feel more at ease but we are lucky to have helpers and partners available on most classes.

What level is suitable for me?
Give us a call on 07872 146896 and we will be happy to help.

Do I need to book for a class or can I just turn up?
Most of our classes are pay-as-you-go with the exception of some of our beginner courses. Please check our timetables where the 'pay in advance' courses are clearly stated.

What do I need to wear for class?
Anything you feel comfortable in. People come in many different atires from jeans and t-shirt to pants and shirt. We do recommend sensible footwear (not too high a heel).

How many people are in the class?
Class sizes vary dependant on location and style. But we always cap classes at a comfortable number.

How old is everyone in class?
Our adult classes range drastically. So rest assured there will be a great mix.

When is there a new routine starting?
Call us to find out.

Can I take exams?
Yes. We take part in medal exams twice a year. Ask us for more information.

Can I have private lessons?
Yes. 1:1 lessons are more popular than ever and offer a flexible and economical way to learn what you want at a time that suits you.

How long will I be in a beginner's class?
We don’t like to put labels on classes as what one person calls a beginner another would call intermediate. When you join a beginner's class, that class will continue at that time and day progressing through the different levels. For instance our Wednesday class at the Rose Club started 6 years ago as beginner and the same people are now still attending as advanced.

Do I have to pay up front?
No. All classes are pay-as-you-go.

Do I need to have any experience to join the beginners classes?
No.

Where can I park?
All our venues have parking. If you would like more info give us a call.
